It is that time of the year when kids are out of school and the family hits the road to enjoy the adventure of a family vacation.  While it is always nice to “get away from it all,” – easily accomplished at any of our vacation homes – it is always nice to have a few activities available.  Lincoln City, Oregon has you covered for the 2014 Spring Break with a variety of entertainment and recreational opportunities.

Finders’ Keepers
Finder’s Keepers is Lincoln City’s version of Hide and Seek.  Hand made glass floats are hidden on the Lincoln City beaches – if you find one, it’s yours!

SOLVE Beach Clean up – March 22, 2014, 10am – 1pm

Spring Whale Watch Week – March 22-29
Every Spring, nearly 18,000 Gray Whales pass by the Oregon Coast on their long trip back to Alaska.  During the Spring Whale Watch Week, volunteers are available to help folks point the at the designated whale watch points along the coast.  For More Information call 541-765-3407 or visit www.whalespoken.org.

Festival of Illusions – March 24 – 28
The Festival of Illusions is a great party for the entire family!  With workshops for the Kids and Performances for the whole family, there’s something for everyone.

Kid’s Pizza Class – March 26, 11am-1pm
The Culinary Center in Lincoln City offers a special class just for 8-12 year olds!  They’ll have a great time creating their own personalized lunches including salad, pizza and fresh fruit.  The cours is at the Culinary Center in Lincoln City from 11:00AM – 1:00PM.
