For the past 30 years, SOLVE has coordinated volunteers to clean up Oregon beaches twice a year. While this program has been responsible for the removal of over 1.5 million tons of litter in the past 3 decades (quite the feat!) there are plenty of folks helping to keep our beaches clean every day of the year. Just making sure to deposit trash in proper containers or removing litter that has washed up on shore helps keep Oregon beaches pristine.
So, to all the beach cleaning volunteers, both official and unofficial – THANK YOU. We appreciate your efforts to keep Oregon beaches a joy to visit!
