Celebrate Mom at the Oregon Coast

Date

What will you be doing this year on May 11?  Perusing an art gallery with your grandmother?  Going to a concert with your wife?  Or perhaps wining and dining your mother?  Sounds like a fantastic way to spend a weekend!

Planning on celebrating Mother’s Day on the Oregon Coast?  Lincoln City has your back with access to art, music and food to celebrate!

The Art of Lincoln City

Art of every kind can be found in Lincoln city.  Painting, sculpture, and glass blowing are all popular and can be found in galleries scattered throughout the city.  The Lincoln City Cultural Center also has a special Maude Wanker Retrospective opening the weekend of Mother’s day.

The Music of Lincoln City

Music is also a common feature of Lincoln City’s cultural heartbeat.  Whether it is a band down at the local bar, the formal Siletz Bay Music Festival in June, or – as in the case of Mother’s Day Weekend – a concert at the casino, Lincoln City has it all.

Reserved Seating Tickets: $35 – $50. Must be 16 or older to attend.

Paul Rodgers’ passion is writing and performing music. In a career that now spans more than four decades, vocalist, guitarist, and songwriter Paul and his various groups have sold in excess of 125 million records around the world. Best known for his expressive vocals on songs that have become rock & roll staples, like “All Right Now,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” “Can’t Get Enough,” and “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy,” he has been cited by dozens of 1970s and ’80s rock groups and musicians as a major influence. Taking a break from his solo career, Rodgers joined Brian May and Roger Taylor in a version of Queen from 2004-2009 for some live shows, one of which was documented on 2005’s Return of the Champions, a double disc on the Hollywood label.

Reserve your seats by phone at 1-888-MAIN ACT (1-888-624-6228), in person at the Chinook Winds Box Office, or online.

The Food of Lincoln City
