My family stayed in June for a family reunion. We all had a very hectic year at work and life in general---we needed rest and peacefulness.  Whale's Tale and Oregon coast provided it - so much so that this morning---it is now September, I brought the pictures back up on the internet so that I could return to that peacefulness for a few minutes before beginning another day at work.  The home itself is absolutely beautiful - the setting magnificent.  The house has everything you could possibly need for cooking, comfort and relaxation. We searched and searched the internet for a pet friendly, oceanfront home with a hot tub and easy beach access...we found Whale's Tale which had it all. We have had such a wonderful week here, I was able to watch the kids play in the surf, take the dog for long walks and watch the sunset every night from the comforts of the top deck---we found the perfect beach house!

This is the most amazing home ever!  We stayed at both Whale's Tale and Gull Cottage and you can not ask for a better view or nicer accommodations.  I plan on returning every year when possible. I highly recommend this home for large families. Our grow children took the lower unit and the adults took the top unit---we had privacy but vacationed together!

Perfect home for a girls gathering, we--cooked--ate--drank--laughed and had the beautiful pacific ocean in the back ground at all times---the sound is just amazing! Waterfront is awesome.
